This title may seem extremely ridiculous and rather insulting to Da Vinci, but when explained, it makes perfect sense. Today’s society runs on youth and success. There is this great push for people to have figured out their lives and mastered something by the time they turn 30, but when you look back at all the greatest figures in history, it is seen repeatedly that the masters are the ones that became great later in life – after many trials and errors. In order to truly become great at something, more effort and time is required than people allow for today. With society running on stricter timelines and greater stress, sometimes it becomes impossible to just stop and think and yes, fail a couple of times before achieving success.
